Nnaemeka is a dual-qualified lawyer in England and Wales, and Nigeria. In 2001, Nnaemeka qualified as a barrister and solicitor in Nigeria. He practised in Nigeria for a number of years, and then re-qualified in England and Wales. He started practising as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2013. Nnaemeka re-joined Valens in 2019, having previously worked at Valens in 2015.
Nnaemeka values professionalism and integrity and brings a passionate and committed approach to all the work that he undertakes for his clients. He is a highly motivated individual, and an extremely confident solicitor.
Nnaemeka has experience in acting for both individuals and businesses across a range of different legal disciplines, including commercial law (including contracts); landlord and tenant (contentious and non-contentious); civil litigation and dispute resolution (including advocacy); and immigration. He has maintained his contacts in Nigeria and has been involved in wide-ranging commercial transactional work involving sub-Saharan African concerns.
At Valens, Nnaemeka works as part of the Property department and Dispute Resolution department, in particular in dealing with contentious and non-contentious aspects relating to property.
Nnaemeka has also been awarded a Masters in Law by the University of East London.
In his spare time, Nnaemeka enjoys reading, keeping fit, and art. He is also actively involved in the Nigerian community in the UK, and is also a member of various alumni associations where he is involved in mentoring students and playing an active role in the personal and professional development of ethnic minorities.
